METAD is a family-owned business we often work with directly to source special coffees from smallholder farmers in Ethiopia. Beyond facilitating agricultural training, innovation, and business resources for farmers, METAD (whose workforce is over 70% women) has had a tremendous social impact, providing educational opportunities like university scholarships and sponsoring a state-of-the-art elementary school, healthcare for employees, and partnering with Grounds For Health to provide cervical cancer screening.
