BENDICION- 1x1

La Bendición, Guatemala

This longtime component of our Minor Monuments blend turns out to be a sleeper hit on its own, with a mellow medium-roast caramel apple profile we adore.

Time to Shine

We've been buying coffee from Finca La Bendicion in Guatemala for three years for our Minor Monuments blend, and this harvest brought an even brighter, more citric, complex and vibrant cup than ever. We loved it so much we wanted to offer it on its own, as a single origin full of tangy fruit and caramel candy notes.

Quality and Endurance

Finca La Bendicion is owned by José Gómez and operated by his son, Jose Junior. Jose Senior has been growing coffee here in El Progreso for the past two decades, and brings his coffee to the skilled team at Beneficio La Esperanza in Antigua for wet milling. This high-grown Catisic coffee is a cross between the Timor Hybrid 832/1 and Caturra varieties, allowing for an improved resistance to coffee leaf rust—a trait more important than ever.
