High-Grown Splendor

The modern Nano Genji coffee mill brings with it the pride and expertise of its sibling mill Nano Challa, long the source of many revered coffees. The more than 600 farmers who bring their cherry here are producing some of the highest-elevation coffees in the region on farms of often incredibly small scale. These altitudes can produce delicate, beguiling coffees, like this one with its sweet fragrance and distinct tropical, tea-like flavors.

Quality & Tradition

Members of the Kata Muduga Union who contribute to Nano Genji are growing their coffee at some of the highest coffee-growing elevations in the region, between 1900–2200 meters above sea level, and carrying on sister mill Nano Challa's tradition of distinct, high-quality lots. The organizational efforts of the union to improve quality throughout growing, picking, and processing have proved successful in highlighting the unique and wonderful attributes of coffee coming out of Nano Genji.
