About Worka Chelbessa

Over the last decade, the area of Worka Chelbessa has become well known for producing spectacular coffees. It's located at a very high elevation, which allows for the slow maturation of the fruit and development of complex flavors. It was these recent regional successes that attracted coffee producer Neguesse Debela to set up his own production facility in Worka Chelbessa. Neguesse owns and operates the company SNAP, which is dedicated to becoming one of the best quality exporters in Ethiopia, and currently represents some of the best cooperatives in the country. At their site in Worka Chelbessa, SNAP not only processes immaculate natural and washed coffees, but they also create unique experimental lots in an effort to improve their quality. We always look forward to SNAP coffees landing at our door, and we’re loving how the syrupy sweet tropical fruit notes pair with the florality of this one.
