ABOUT ALBERTO PABLO
Alberto Pablo, a neighbor and cooperative partner of Santos Pablo, brings us this exceptional coffee from the remote mountains of Huehuetenango. Like many producers in the region, Alberto worked as a migrant laborer to afford his 13-hectare farm, which he and Santos both refer to as “La Paya,” as naming farms isn’t common in the area.
Despite the farm’s size, Alberto and his family produce just eight bags of this stunning coffee each year. This particular lot earned first place at Huehuetenango’s Festival Huistlan, a testament to its quality.
Alberto’s coffee is a masterclass in nuance and complexity. Its flavors evolve with every sip, offering notes of ripe mango, doug fir, currants, and candied grapefruit. This is a coffee you’ll savor differently every time—a true mark of excellence.
