A decade ago, a neighbor convinced Blasina Martinez to try growing coffee alongisde the corn and beans she farmed to sustain her family. She began growing for specialty not long after her first harvests, and we were introduced to her by Proyecto Cabañas and Exportada San Vincente, which enabled us to buy her wonderful coffee last season as well as this one.
