About Honduras Las Vegas

Many of our producer friends in Honduras—Freddy and Wilma Bautista, Ludwin Murcia, and Bernardo Izaguirre—have struggled greatly with coffee leaf rust this year, resulting in smaller harvests of the coffees we've long since loved. To honor the work of these producers and help them rebound, we bought these small lots at higher premiums that we’d normally pay and combined them to make what we think is a delicious, silver lining of a coffee.

Thanks a Mill-ion

Here in Northwestern Honduras, located on the mountains overlooking Lake Yojoa, many smallholder coffee farmers like Fredy, Wilma, and Bernardo work with Beneficio San Vicente, a dry mill and exporter that has been the catalyst for the emergence of this region in the specialty coffee consciousness. The mill has done an incredible job of connecting individual farmers to different roasters worldwide. The blend we've created from these beloved producers brings out the beauty of their Pacas harvests.
