Piramide DF

La Pirámide, Colombia

Lush La Pirámide has been one of our go-to favorites from the first time we tasted it. It has a wonderful green grape jamminess, apple pie sweetness, and a clean crisp finish.

About La Pirámide

La Pirámide was one of the first coffees we added to the GGET menu when we first began roasting, and it's made an appearance every year since. This coffee's lingering, clean sweetness is consistent each season, and this year it’s particularly delicious. The lot we've sourced represents the diligent work of 300 smallholder producers located in Inzá, a small municipality between Huila and Cauca, who we're proud to support.

GGET Coffee Geography

Top of the Pops

Inza is a remote area where indigenous communities practice generations-old growing techniques, and is home to some of the best coffees coming out of Colombia. This is credited largely to the long history of coffee production here, incredibly biologically diverse ecosystems, and high elevation. Farms here are planted at 1700-2000 masl—some of the highest elevations possible for growing coffee—and producers process their coffees themselves in small fermentation setups right on their own farms.
