Estate coffees like this, unlike coffees from a cooperative, are owned by one or several owners and they usually only process the coffee they grow and harvest, and are common in Kenya. This vibrant coffee is an "AB" bean size lot (slightly smaller than Kenya "AA" lots) which we loved especially for the unique and nuanced flavor characteristics of the SL28, Ruiru 11, and Batian coffee varieties that it comprises.
